We are able to offer our discounts by using our entitlement to initial commission to reduce the initial charges. We are also able to use our bargaining power to negotiate further reductions in the initial charges from the product providers - all of which we pass on to you.
We receive a share of the normal annual charge that you pay to the product provider - usually 0.5% for investment products. This is the same charge that you pay whether you go direct or through an intermediary and is not an extra cost to you.
